Encourage students to a specific commitment to the lifestyle of a campus missionary. The commitment is as follows:
My Campus Missionary Commitment
PRAY
• I will pray each day that God will open the doors for campus 
ministry. (Colossians 4:2, 3; Thessalonians 3:1)
• I will pray that Christians will take a stand and witness for 
Christ. (Matthew 9:38; Luke 10:2; Ephesians 6:19)
• I will pray for the leaders—students, principals, teachers, and 
coaches. (1 Timothy 2:1, 2;)
• I will pray for burnouts and hard-cases on campus (Psalm 2:8)
• I will bind and cast down strongholds—humanism, “meism,” 
materialism, secularism, false religions, dividing spirits. 
(Matthew 18:18—20; 2 Corinthians 10:3—6)
LIVE
• I will live a life of daily devotion to Christ through the Word 
of God. (Matthew 4:4)
• I will schedule a day of fasting and prayer each semester. 
(2 Chronicles 7:14)
• I will love all Christians, regardless of denomination. 
(John 13:35)
• I will be filled with the Spirit of God. (Ephesians 5:18)
TELL
• I will identify, pray for, and maintain a list of at least three 
friends I will seek to daily witness the hope of Jesus Christ 
to. (Matthew 28:18-20)
• I will use the classroom, extracurricular involvement, and 
other activities as a platform to share Christ. (1 Peter 3:15)
SERVE
• I will encourage others to identify themselves as Christians 
on campus and establish a standard for how a Christian lives. 
(You're either a missionary or a mission field.) (Romans 1:16)
• I will organize or participate regularly in an on-campus 
ministry that serves my campus. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
GIVE
• As one missionary to another, I will give regularly and 
sacrificially to another mission work sponsored by my 
youth group or church.
• I will exercise a giving heart toward all my service efforts 
on campus.
